All expressions of the IEML language have the form of information flow between expressions.A flow of information moves from a source to a destination. This flow is eventually mediated by a translator.source, destination and translator are in turn flows, except in the case of events of which sources and destinations are elements. All IEML fluxes are either pragmatic or semantic. The polar quality of the flow is given by its source.
