The Information economy metalanguage is designed and realized by Pierre Lévy, Professor at the communication department of the University of Ottawa http://www.uottawa.ca and director of the Collective Intelligence Lab.

The research that led to the invention and realization of the metalanguage is supported by the canadian federal program of Canada Research Chairs http://www.chairs.gc.ca and by the SSHRC http://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca
